Dr. Susan Bartell is a psychologist specializing in the issues of tweens and teens, especially girls! Dr. Susan’s Girls-Only Weight Loss Guide is her second book for preteens and teens. The first, Stepliving for Teens (Penguin) is for teenagers in stepfamilies. She is also the author of Mommy or Daddy: whose side am I on? (Adams Media).
Dr. Susan lives in New York and works with girls and their parents at her office, and in large and small groups at schools, camps, youth groups and other locations. Dr. Susan also speaks at conferences for parents as well as teachers, doctors and other professionals. Dr. Susan has two daughters and a son who give her lots of helpful advice and suggestions. She also has a wonderful husband who she loves very much!
